Please let me know if you would like your room redecorated
at some point as I will make a list of tasks for the summer,
also as we have rooms available at the home it’s a good time
to move out for a few days so that the work can be done.

I am happy to make any residents and families an
appointment with me before I go on maternity leave. It
would just me a chance to catch up and review together.
Give me a call and we can book a time, I’m onsite Monday,
Tuesday and Thursday. I can also pop in on Sundays if this
helps people that are busy during the week.

Myself and Barbara have started a dementia pathway
qualification, it’s so interesting, there is so much to learn!

Lea has invited all families and friends to a gathering to
discuss activities. Please see Leas part of the newsletter for
details.

The Auburn Mere Friends group for people that have
someone with dementia in the family or a close friend will
start this month. On Monday 24th from 2.30pm-4pm. Please
call me to confirm if you wish to attend.

We do have rooms available at the home so if you know
anyone looking please send them in our direction.

is a request from our accounts department, you can

Please make sure you also email Niamh Olohan in
the office at admin@jsai.co.uk if you would like the
newsletter emailed to any other family and friends
that would like to hear what’s going on at the home.
Please like us on Facebook and ask your contacts if
they can like us too. It’s a nice way to stay up to date
and you should only see photographs of the
residents that have signed consent forms to say they
are happy for their imaged to be shared.

Knocking doors
The project is nearly finished now; the time has
absolutely flown by!
The top floor decorating is now complete and the
middle floor is nearly there too, just the ground floor to
go now.
There is a comments box in the reception area if anyone
would like to make a comment on how you feel about
the changes please do, there is a note pad next to the
box. All comments will help us write our report at the
end.
The project’s completion date is 31st March, it’s a
Monday and we will celebrate in the afternoon from
2pm-5pm, with drinks and music, house tours and cake.

Hello Everyone,
Spring is nearly here!
Love those spring flowers, it’s so lovely during our flower
arranging sessions that we can see the changes through the
seasons having fresh flowers in and around the house does
seem to bring pleasure to all.
I will be trying out a bigger challenge to all our budding flower
arrangers ( excuse the pun )  I thought baskets , lets fill
baskets of flowers for spring time which leads me to a request
if anyone has any little wicker baskets stashed in cupboards etc
that we could use that would be much appreciated.

idea’s or views on activities, trips etc.
Your input is important as it can help families know their
loved ones are happy and content.
