Archaeologists study the past based on what people left
behind. Fossils, artifacts, and written records are some of
the things people left behind. Explore archaeological
finds on the web and select one that interest you.
Imagine you are an archaeologist and write a short
informative article about a find you've discovered that
could go in a school science magazine. Describe the find
in detail: What is it? Who made it? Where was it found?
Who found it? Why is the find interesting to
archaeologists? Include a picture in article. Include a title
for your article and heading (First&Last Name, Period #).
