Subject-specific competences: Students acquire deep insights into cell and cytoskeletal dynamics, the cell cycle, nuclear architecture and dynamics including modern methods in cell biology. Contents and qualification goals of the Students acquire insights into the molecular basics of module: various genetically based diseases such as laminopathies, lissencephaly and cancer. Students acquire special insights into the current state of research with regard to the cell biology of the nucleus, the centrosome and microtubule-asssociated proteins. 2.) Methods-specific competences: Students learn to cope with specialist literature in English. Students learn to recognise and select the most important contents from scientific articles. Students learn selected cell biological laboratory techniques in a practical course 3.) Action competences (with relevance for society and strategies): Students are able to answer concretely asked questions in a concise style in written form. Students are able to present and defend scientific work in a public seminar using suitable presentation media. Students are able to ask precise questions to deepen the understanding of a seminar topic.
