Review Meetings to take stock of activities-secretary
The decision to start a news letter as a weekly
event was suggested at the management review
meeting on the 1st of November by the Secretary
of the Executive council of GCT. This decision was
welcomed wholeheartedly by all present in the
meeting. It was later decided to publish it as a
fortnightly. As a modest beginning, we have
formed an Editorial Board and an advisory
committee. The news letter gives the readers an
insight into the recent events and happenings in
the Institution and a platform for suggestions
and recommendations. As in the case of certain
hospitals of repute in Delhi and Mumbai, We
hope and pray that the two page SNIMS News
grows into a major publication and a significant
contributor in the health sector.
I take this opportunity to thank the management
and administration on the confidence reposed on
us and we will strive hard to take it ahead in the
right direction. We Pray to God almighty and our
leading light Gurudeva to give us the ability and
the guidance to succeed in this venture.
The advisory board consists of Prof. Madhavi
Ramachandran vice Principal and HOD
Anaesthesiology and Dr [Col] Tommy Varghese,
Medical Superintendent. Dr Prabhakaran Nair is
the Editor and will be supported by Dr Mahesh
Kumar, Assistant Professor, Orthopaedics and Dr
Anoop Vincent Assistant Professor, Psychiatry,
and student representatives Mr Yadukrishna and
