2015 Educational Conference in Las Vegas
o Dates confirmed: February 26-27, 2015.
o Venue site visits on September 5, 2014: Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa, JW
Marriott Resort & Spa, and Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa
o Speakers and topics.
o Outreach to physician recruiters in Vegas market to encourage membership.
Christy Ricks will do some outreach for us with this group.
o Update sponsors on 2015 Conference so they can begin planning.
o Evaluate and improve delineation between sponsorship levels. Gold Silver
Bronze – all on our brochures, all 5 minutes to speak, networking evening event,
etc. What can we give them: Sponsor introduces the keynote speaker; table
toppers; website logo; logos in emails leading up to conference; welcome bag/gift
in each room, etc. Jenna has done this before and will work with Kara to develop
a plan.
o Other items? Communicate with sponsors from last year first then contact other
interested sponsors next (Katie has list). Develop a brochure and/or marketing
email for sponsors, vendors, new members, members, etc.

Educational webinar planning
o Topics? Bring back something from ASPR. Christy will follow up with something
as Banner will be bringing back information for their staff.
Treasury Update:

Kara Balliet – Current balance is $7,622.94.
o Reinstatement is in process in Nevada and, once complete, the organization will
file any outstanding taxes.

feedback, concerns etc. as all SWPRA members would need to be ASPR members in

Conferences:


AAFP Conference – Angela attended. Seemed poorly organized as far as booth
locations, etc.
CareerMD LA – Barb Worthington, Dan Diaz and Rochelle Hobson attending.
Registration was “closed” but they still accepted a registration 2 weeks out if you’re
interested.
CareerMD in Colorado - Christy Ricks recently attended a– lots of primary care traffic
as well as some unusual specialties (peds psych).
CareerMD Houston – Colin Harris attending on the 8th of September.


the top of the list. 3rd result is an academic facility in Doximity with
breast imaging radiologists… From here you may be able to find out
the email naming convention for each person and facility. At the very
least, you get their profile and the facility’s phone number.
Note: Use a ^ if you want to search for words that begin or end with certain letters. For
example, enter this boolean string if you want to find Doximity
candidates have neurology, neurologist, neuroscience, etc. in their
Doximity profile: Doximity and Academic and Neuro^
