TEACHING
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that Communication courses should enhance engagement on the interpersonal level, the
civic level, as well as the cultural level. Broadly speaking, I hope to equip students with the skills
they need to live in a democratic society, as well as give students a greater understanding of their
choices and options as communicators and an increased sense of control over their
communication behavior.
