Look inside to find out what Poplars Farm
Primary School’s Friends of Poplars Farm
is all about.
Friends of Poplars Farm (PTA) is a committee of dedicated parents
that focus on organising and holding fun events for families and the local
community of Poplars Farm Primary School. The events are run with the
primary aim of bringing the community together with the secondary aim
of raising additional money for the development of the school.
Spending issues are the decision of the committee and is released to the
school under instruction of where the money is to be spent.
Previous money raised between 2009 and 2011 has been spent on the
development of the playground, contributing to enabling school to
provide the two large MUGA ends and playground markings.
The focus for the committee this academic year is to develop the
community room.
