Why do we use Triple Antibiotic Ointment on our cuts? Triple Antibiotic Ointment is used to prevent infections and to speed up healing our cuts. For example: If you get a bad cut outside when you’re playing and you ignore it can get infected. Infected cuts hurt and look bad. If you put Triple Antibiotic Ointment on your cut, it can fight the germs and help you heal better. Before applying the ointment the wound must be cleaned with soap and water and patted dry. Then apply the ointment and cover the wound with a proper sized bandage. What is happening?
