Diocese of Hallam Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, led
by Bishop Ralph Heskett CSsR .
7th to 14 March, 2016.
The Pilgrimage will depart from Manchester to Tel Aviv on 7th
March and will return on 14th March 2016.
The Pilgrims will spend two nights in Jerusalem, 3 nights in
Bethlehem and 2 nights in Tiberias. The pilgrimage will follow
closely the footsteps of the Jesus and will include visits to;
Basilica of the Nativity; The Shepherds fields; The Pools of
Bethesda, St Anne’s Church; The Via Dolorosa; Church of
the Holy Sepulchre; Mount of Olives; Dominus Flevit; the
Garden of Gethsemane. We would also hope to visit and
share Masses with local Christians. Pilgrims will have daily
Mass and we hope to again be able to arrange Mass at the
Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
There is full board accommodation throughout the pilgrimage.
The all- inclusive cost of the above is £1300 per person. For
those considering travelling early booking is advised to avoid
surcharges. Visiting the Holy Land is more than a personal
Pilgrimage. Your presence there gives hope, comfort and
support to our Brothers and Sisters who suffer daily for their
faith. Do consider joining the Pilgrimage.
Those wishing to have further information with regard to this
pilgrimage or those who wish to travel as Pilgrims should
contact the organiser Joe McNally.
