All Welcome as the session is in English and runs for an hour Living Waters Baptism Preparation Programme for St Patrick’s and St. Thomas More’s Who the programme is for: 1. Existing members of St Patrick’s and St. Thomas More’s Parish communities 2. New members who have been part of St Patrick’s and St. Thomas More’s parish communities for at least 3 months. Outline of the Programme: Three programmes per year, February – March, June- July, September – October. Each programme involves 3 Tuesday evening meetings, 7.30 – 8.30pm at St. Patrick’s Presbytery, Barnsley Road, S5 0QF. How to enrol: 1. Meet with the Fr. Martin to discuss application for Baptism 2. Complete the enrolment form 3. Hand completed enrolment form to either Fr. Martin, or on table, back of church. Please pick up a copy. Diocese of Hallam Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, led by Bishop Ralph Heskett CSsR . 7th to 14 March, 2016. The Pilgrimage will depart from Manchester to Tel Aviv on 7th March and will return on 14th March 2016. The Pilgrims will spend two nights in Jerusalem, 3 nights in Bethlehem and 2 nights in Tiberias. The pilgrimage will follow closely the footsteps of the Jesus and will include visits to; Basilica of the Nativity; The Shepherds fields; The Pools of Bethesda, St Anne’s Church; The Via Dolorosa; Church of the Holy Sepulchre; Mount of Olives; Dominus Flevit; the Garden of Gethsemane. We would also hope to visit and share Masses with local Christians. Pilgrims will have daily Mass and we hope to again be able to arrange Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. There is full board accommodation throughout the pilgrimage. The all- inclusive cost of the above is £1300 per person. For those considering travelling early booking is advised to avoid surcharges. Visiting the Holy Land is more than a personal Pilgrimage. Your presence there gives hope, comfort and support to our Brothers and Sisters who suffer daily for their faith.
