Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neurological Surgery We are seeking a qualified individual for a newly available Postdoctoral position in the Wainwright Laboratory at Northwestern University – Feinberg School of Medicine. Our WORK focuses on brain tumor immunology research and our goals are to discover and/or explore key novel regulators of immunosuppression in malignant glioma; with a particular focus on the interaction(s) between tumor cells and immune cells. Toward that goal, we will utilize multiple immunologic assays, as well as orthotopic and novel transgenic mouse models of glioblastoma. To be competitive for this position, the applicant will have a proven research track record of productivity, creativity and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Applicants must have a recent PhD degree in immunology, cell biology, neuroscience and/or anatomy. Previous familiarity with HPLC, immunologic assays, transgenic mouse models, as well as biochemical and molecular biological techniques is preferable.
