Agenda item #1: MPEG Transport Streams, presented by Stephen Turner Slide deck posted on 1722.1 contributions page http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/1722/1/contributions/1722.1-turner-mpeg-ts-descriptor-201202-07-v1.pdf Proposing a media container format for MPEG TS data type Chris Healy pointed out that MPEG TS has a limitation that makes it difficult to encode multiple languages (multiple tracks) in the audio content; i.e. many PES’s for audio. Group was unclear (as a group) on the application of TS interfacing to 1722.1. Recommendation was to proceed and add support in the formats list without worrying about the specific details of end-to-end TS connectivity (demux, re-mux, decoding, etc) Agenda item #2: AVDECC Controllers, presented by Ashley Butterworth Slide deck posted on 1722.1 contributions page http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/1722/1/contributions/1722.1-butterworth-controllers-2012-0205-v1.pdf << lunch break: Approx 12:20pm to 1:10 pm >> Agenda item #3: Proposal for terminology change (from “Value” to “Parameter”), presented by Stephen Turner Terminology issue: usage of “value” is overloaded in the current draft Jeff agreed to address this, clarify the text, and send to Stephen to review Agenda item #4: Composite Controls, presented by Stephen Turner Suggestions for enhancing the framework for organizing control, using data structures Elliot Blennerhassett called in to discuss additional framework changes and enhancements Group agreed that some good ideas were presented, but consensus was that these changes would ultimately slow progress toward sponsor ballot Agenda item #5: Review Comments on p1722.1 Draft 18 Review and discussion ensued for the remainder of the meeting Meeting adjourned at <oops, I forgot to log the time.
