Proposing a media container format for MPEG TS data type
Chris Healy pointed out that MPEG TS has a limitation that makes it difficult to encode multiple
languages (multiple tracks) in the audio content; i.e. many PES’s for audio.
Group was unclear (as a group) on the application of TS interfacing to 1722.1. Recommendation
was to proceed and add support in the formats list without worrying about the specific details of
end-to-end TS connectivity (demux, re-mux, decoding, etc)

Terminology issue: usage of “value” is overloaded in the current draft
Jeff agreed to address this, clarify the text, and send to Stephen to review



Suggestions for enhancing the framework for organizing control, using data structures
Elliot Blennerhassett called in to discuss additional framework changes and enhancements

Group agreed that some good ideas were presented, but consensus was that these changes
would ultimately slow progress toward sponsor ballot
