Tasked with optimizing bus bar cutting plan and wrote a program to calculate optimization
routines. Reduced wastage from 13% to 3%.
TECHNICAL SKILLSETS
1. C/C++
a. Self-taught Programmer with intimate knowledge of C/C++.
b. Completed a 2D game using Borland graphics Interface (BGI) as Project in 12th grade.
c. Have Knowledge of using SDL (Simple Direct Media Layer) as a graphics rendering
engine with DevC++.
d. Have Basic Knowledge of the Symbian s60v5 SDK / PSP SDK and have deployed and
tested basic functionalities and how all these systems work.
f. Have worked with OpenCV for image processing tasks in C++.
g. Have worked with various microcontrollers on AVR platform using C to develop
applications on these platforms.
h. Also worked on the Arduino platform and have interfaced various external devices such
as GPS, GSM, Ethernet controller, Xbee and written custom libraries for the Arduino
platform.
2. PYTHON
a. Have a good knowledge of functional programming with python by using lambda
expressions, generators and iterators.
b. Familiar with python and have worked with Facebook API, twitter (OAuth) API and am
comfortable with reading documentation on these open source frameworks to get any
custom application working.
c. Have basic knowledge of the Django CMS and have used python bindings to OpenCV to
develop a web interface to OpenCV function to implement Image processing on the cloud as a
proof of concept.
3. Android
a. Have a comprehensive knowledge of the Android SDK and have taught a course for
students to learn Android Development on the Eclipse IDE.
b. Also have compiled a custom version of Android for my Tablet and have the technical
skill required for android kernel development.
c. Can write android applications that leverage the complete hardware applications of an
android device using render script and have also used the Android NDK to develop
OpenCV based image processing applications on an Arduino based tablet.
4. Embedded Systems
a. Have experience of being able to compile and write Linux kernel applications.
b. Have worked with the pengutronix BSP for the mini2440 and developed useful
application for the same.
c. Have a good knowledge of Qt to develop native GUI’s for embedded platforms.
d. Have complete confidence that given enough time to learn, I can accomplish any task on
any Hardware board that supports Linux.
