Business Context
MP Livestock and Poultry development
Corporation (MPLPDC) under National Project for
Cattle and Buffalo Breeding (NPCBB) aims at
thorough re-organization and reorientation of
the cattle and buffalo breeding operations in the
state. For proper monitoring NPCBB scheme, MP
Livestock and Poultry Development Corporation
(MPLPDC) has deployed a web based MIS. MPLPDC provide necessary assistance to agricultural
labor of the weaker section in order to improve their socio economic status. Different schemes
were implemented to improve cattle, buffalo and poultry breeds and to arrange for marketing
of eggs , milk and table birds and to help the poultry breeders for getting proper cost of the
production. There was a requirement to enhance this MIS and remove the bottlenecks with
respect to sperm stations, farms and veterinary units.
C-Net provided the enhanced web based MIS solution which accelerated the entire working of
corporation.
Our Solution
C-Net solution focussed on the development of web based
MIS for managing the production (egg & milk) , Quality
control and distribution activities of Central Semen Station
(CSS) into web based portal.
It also included monitoring of LN2, SMS based reporting of
breed wise AI services and requirements including logistics
and inventory. Gram Dristhi project was also implemented
for viewing milk Route & Service covered areas.

Challenge

Being the first project of state government, it was difficult for them to communicate
their requirement so the dependency was on field staff

Data entry from AI centres was difficult due to lack of infrastructure

Providing a turnkey solution in stipulated time period of six months

Field staff was unaware about IT, thus communication was problem
