Neuroscience Institute- Stroke center
o closed and open head traumas
o interventional neuroradiology
o high volume neuroskeletal surgeries – anterior and posterior
Obstetrics rotation

High volume obstetrics and gynecology practice including management of highrisk pregnancies in the state-of-the-art Center for Childbirth
o proficient in regional anesthesia including intraoperative spinals, laboring
epidurals, combined spinal epidural technique
St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children Pediatric rotation
 One of the only three level I pediatric trauma centers in Pennsylvania
 Only pediatric burn center in Philadelphia area
 Pediatric specialties including cardiology, ENT, gastroenterology, oncology, orthopedics
o Intraoperative management and resuscitation of critically ill children from birth to
age 21
o 24-hr call duties including level I trauma and level I burn admissions, codes,
urgent and emergent procedures
o Preoperative assessments and preparation of patients and families for upcoming
procedures
Fox Chase Cancer Center Thoracic rotation
 100 bed teaching hospital with diagnostic services, outpatient and treatment facilities,
women’s cancer center, and cancer genome institute

o experienced in single lung ventilation for thoracic, cervical, and abdominal surgeries

of hemodynamically unstable and critically ill oncology patients requiring ongoing
