MYSTERY GIRL INT: Mike and Eric are sitting quietly on the bench. Paul joins them. PAUL: (Enters scene and starts talking to Mike) Dude, what's up? MIKE: Ya know what? ERIC: What? MIKE: Sue Anne Miller keeps looking at me real funny all the time, and it gives me the creeps. PAUL: Dude, girls are supposed to give you the creeps. They're creepy creatures. MIKE: But she's got this real weird look on her face, like she's sick to her stomach or something. ERIC: Then don't look at her. MIKE: You can't help it when she's staring at you all the time like with these big huge eyes that are all spacey and weird. PAUL: That's because she likes you! MIKE: No way. If she likes me how come she acts like a total jerk? ERIC: Girls always act like jerks if they like you. MIKE: That's crazy. PAUL: All girls are crazy. That's their thing. If they weren't crazy, they wouldn't be girls. They can make you goofy too. MIKE: Yeah, they can. Like Sue Anne Miller looking at me with this stupid smile on her face. When I look back at her, I get this creepy feeling in my stomach like I just ate too much. ERIC: That's because you like her too. . MIKE: Sue Anne Miller? You kidding? I can't stand Sue Anne Miller. ERIC: I used to think I couldn't stand Janet Moore too. Because she made me feel like a toad. I started to like back and now when she looks at me I feel more like a lion. MIKE: That's crazy. PAUL: What do you feel like when Sue Anne stares at you? MIKE: Awful. PAUL: I mean, like what kind of animal? MIKE: I dunno know. A pig maybe. ERIC: That's because you like her. MIKE: Because I feel like a pig? PAUL: That's the way you're supposed to feel. Crummy. That means you like her. Welcome to 'Boyhood' dude. MIKE: YUCK!
