Prayer to Our Lady

INTRODUCTION
In this Marian devotion let us try to become ever more aware of
what Mary means in our lives as the path leading us to Jesus, who
told us that he is the Way to the Father.
Let us begin by singing together:
"Star and path, miracle of love,
from your hand, Mother, we find God".
(Let us return to the beginnings of the Congregation and to the stage in which we used to pray with
the "Marian Trisagium". Let us recite the ten Hail Marys of a mystery: the compendium of all the
mysteries of the Rosary).
Let us begin with a contemplative prayer: Let us see Mary immersed in the divine mystery.
Let us adore the mystery of God and bless Mary's steps throughout her earthly life.

Mary,
Mary, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, today we wish to thank you,
because you are the Mother of the Church,
because you protect our Congregation and look upon it with gratitude,
because you were the first Hospitaller, welcoming Jesus into your breast
and accompanying Him to the cross,
because you lead us to the source of the living water
which sprang from the Heart of your Son
and you give us with a heart of mercy
to take your maternal love to suffering humanity..
We thank you,
because you have taught us to discover the needs of others
and to effectively respond to them.
We thank you for being able to call you "Our Mother"
and for the joy of knowing that we are "your daughters".
