existing and emerging needs with our Community Fund investments, and convening major community
initiatives like the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative at United Way.
United Way’s Community Fund donations focus on prevention and early intervention to help those most
in need to get the best results for our community. They work with thousands of local people, including
donors, volunteers, community leaders, service providers and their clients to determine our
community’s toughest challenges so that we can make a real difference with the millions of dollars that
thousands of people entrust each year. And when our donations are combined to fund targeted
strategies, they’re able to get great results:




90% of students who participate in summer programming for three or more years graduate
from high school on time
97% of families avoid child maltreatment, abuse and neglect
95,000 local people get nutritious meals through a food pantry or soup kitchen
1,500 local individuals receive 250,000 daily meal deliveries right to their door

United Way is pleased to offer Fast Track, a unique giving option that allows you to reach the leadership
level of giving gradually over three years while being immediately recognized as a leadership donor. Fast
Track members give $500 in first year of membership, $750 in year two, and $1,000 in your third and
final Fast Track year. You can Fast Track your Young Leaders’ Club membership with gift of $100 in
your first year, $250 in year two and $500 in year three. You can also become a Fast Track Alexis De
Tocqueville Society member with a gift of $5,000 in your first year, $7,500 in year two and $10,000 in
year three.
