Subcontractor will install ceramic tile with Hardibacker over existing ceramic block walls in the shower area and demo shower floor tile and install new ceramic tile on shower floor. The ceramic tile to be used was selected by the user/customer and is to be 12”x12” Marazzi Artisan Ghiberti (Model# UL7J) for the shower wall with Polyblend Oyster Gray for the grout color. The shower wall will have an accent row of tile installed 5’ 6” AFF and the selection is to be Marazzi Artisan 12” x 2-3/4” Ghiberti Mosaic tile (Model#UL3M) with Polyblend Oyster Gray as the grout color. The shower floor tile is to be 12” x 12” Marazzi Artisan Ghiberti (Model# UL7Q) glazed porcelain tile with same grout color as walls. Vendor will also install 12”x12” Marazzi Artisan Ghiberti (Model# UL7J) on the floor of the restroom. The existing tile in the restroom area was already been removed and only new tile will need to be installed. Vendor will follow all NASA and JSC safety requirements. The Contractor shall provide a written statement and any additional warranties available. If a warranty discrepancy creates an emergency or urgent condition, CSC retains the right to correct the emergency or urgent condition without regard to warranty provisions. The Subcontractor will remain liable for the Warranty throughout the life of the Warranty as originally provided to NASA. Access The Buyer shall have access at any and all times to the contractor’s equipment, materials, supplies, assigned areas and site of operation for inspection purposes. Hours of Work Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime and weekend work must be approved in advance by the Subcontract Administrator or the Technical POC. Safety All suppliers doing work on-site at JSC, Ellington, or Sonny Carter Training Facility, need to attend the 30 minute Safety Orientation with NASA in Bldg 111. This training is in addition to Safety Kickoff/Precon meetings. If the vendor is late, they will have to come back the following day. This training needs to be scheduled with the subcontract administrator, at least a day in advance, by noon. Only special situations will be waived from this process and must be approved by CSC Safety. After they are done in Bldg. 111, they need to go to Bldg. 110 to pick up their badges. Depending on additional training requirements, they are to go to Bldg. 325 or Bldg. 330 to meet with the CSC Training Representative or CSC Safety for a review, any additional training requirements, and to pick up their site safety cards. These additional requirements will be provided by the Buyer or Subcontract Administrator.
