The staff of the Western Illinois Regional Council's
Project Santa Program would like to thank the
teachers, students, parents, and administration of St.
Paul's School, and members of the Parish, for the
generosity shown during the Holiday season. The
Agency served 444 children in Hancock, Henderson,
McDonough and Warren counties through the
program this year and several received the Christ
Child gifts and coats that were purchased and given
through the school's collective efforts. As in years
past, the coats made this a very special season of
sharing, as the children who received the coats were
in need and were most appreciative to receive them.
To each and every one of you who had a hand in
either the coats or Christ Child gifts, thank you for
your most thoughtful generosity!

Guild Prison Mission Project Items collected in
November for the women’s prison at Lincoln were
delivered just before Thanksgiving. Items the prison
could not accept were given to Loaves & Fishes or
Project Hope store. All the items will be useful to
those receiving them and hopefully add some joy
to their life. Thanks to all who contributed and
helped sort items in this newly proclaimed Year of
Mercy. Your giving was both helpful and merciful.

Attention all Parishes
Many of our Parishes are scheduled to attend
Confirmation Masses at the Cathedral in March and
April of 2016. These Masses are special, joyous
occasions and excellent times for Parish Music
Departments and Singers to join the Cathedral Music
Department in making a joyful noise! Letters are
mailed to each Parish scheduled to attend in the
spring. Please consider adding your voices to our
music ministry! Please contact Director of Sacred
Music for the Office of Divine Worship, Greg Etzel,
at 309-677-7084 or Getzel@cdop.org for questions
and to make arrangements to add to our music.
