The weekly workshop aims to support people to get into and back into work. We offer people help with compiling and updating CVs, job searches, applications, hints and tips for interviews. We also provide computer and internet access, and free training and confidence building workshops. Tuesdays & Wednesdays Employment Mentor Call in or book for a 1:1 appointment for individual support 1 to 1 support that will help you to find the right pathway to employment. The Employment mentor can offer ongoing support and guidance and mock interviews and provide you with an opportunity to think about learning opportunities and career options and progress at a pace that suits you. Wednesday 9am – 11am 11am – 1pm Online Basics weekly every Wednesday morning Online Basics is a great way for you to get started online, helping you to gain the skills and confidence you need to start using computers and the internet. Wednesday weekly every Wednesday afternoon 1pm – 3pm The course has been designed for people who have already got to grips with the basics, covering: how to find and apply for jobs online, completing forms online, understanding public services online and much much more. Online Plus Tuesdays 9.30am – 11.30 ITQ Workshop weekly every Tuesday - am or pm 11.30 – 1.30 2pm – 4pm Improving your computer skills can help you get on at work or help with further learning. Choose from a range of courses that can give you a certificate and qualification. There are computing courses at all levels, for beginners and beyond. Many courses are flexible, so you can learn when you want and at your own pace. 4 day course: Tuesday- Friday 9.30 - 3.00 Two start dates: 13, 14, 15, 16 May and 1, 2, 3, 4 July The Full Works – motivation course A unique course delivered over a 4 day period with a creative and fun approach that aims to raise aspirations, tackle low self esteem and improve motivation and employability. Creating Documents for Job Search To be confirmed shortly Winsford Work Zone 5 weeks It is increasingly important for everyone who is looking for work to be able to produce basic documents i.e. a CV, covering and spec letters. This course is essential and will show you basic word processing skills including: inserting text, changing the size and look of text, how to upload a CV on to UJM or any other jobsites and how to attach a document using email. * Places are limited but are free for people who are over 19, unemployed, actively seeking work and in receipt of state benefit/s (ESA, JSA, WRAG or Universal Credit)
