lead they would not relinquish. Later in the 1st quarter Malik Jackson would catch a 33 yard
touchdown pass from Cheyne Gitsham to go up 16-0. Gitsham would strike again as he hit Adam
DeWall who outraced defenders for a 56 yard touchdown. The final Jr. Bulldog touchdown of the

Midgets
Bulldogs 38, Grizzlies 0
The Midgets got their season off to a great start with a 38-0 win over Granite Bay. Brady
Huddlestun found CJ Hutton for a 20 yard TD on their first drive. On the next drive, Hutton again
found the end zone from 45 yards out, set up by great blocks from Dominic Navarro and Sutter
Holden. With under 3:00 left in the first half, Huddlestun threw his 2nd TD of the game from 9
yards out to Luke Simmons. On the opening drive of the second half, Huddlestun again found
Hutton for a 4 yard TD, which was set up by a big reception by Tiler Fears. Huddlestun capped off
the scoring on the next drive, this time keeping it himself from 5 yards out, after Keionn Palmer
returned a punt for 48 yards. Drake Digiorno made 4 of 5 PAT's. The swarming defense led by
Grant Furrey, Alex Wong, Navarro, Hutton, Matthew Simon, Colby Christierson, Dylan Richard,
Jayden Meneghetti, Digiorno, and Palmer held the Jr. Grizzlies to -15 yards on the day. Tiler Fears
had an interception and Simon recovered a fumble. The entire group of offensive linemen gave time
for both Huddlestun and Max Simmons to find open receivers. The Bulldogs look to come out
strong next week against Whitney on "The Blue" at Folsom High School.
