Meet Lin Tong alias Shirley
Age and family life
She is 14 years old and she lives with her
parents in Tianjin. At home they have
goldfishes and they used to have a turtle,
but it died.
Friends
Her best friend is Wang Kuan alias Crystal.
They go to Yaohua high school together in
the same class, and they are always together
at school.
Interests
She does not have a lot of hobbies, because she spends a lot of time on her
schoolwork. She likes to listen to music, and she loves Chinese and American
pop music. Both she and her best friend Wang Kuan like Britney Spears. Lin
Tong really likes cute dogs and cute cats, and she would like to have some pet
dogs when she gets older. (Her parents don’t want them at home.)
Dreams and aspirations
Lin Tong would like to become a lawyer when she grows up, but she believes
that it is going to be very difficult for her to achieve that, even though she
goes to a good school. She wants to study at a university in Beijing together
with her best friend Wang Kuan.
Traveling
So far Lin Tong has been to Japan and South China, and someday she would
like to visit Denmark. A lot of Chinese people have been to Japan, and many
Chinese school kids are taught Japanese at school.
