RON STUCKEY MEMORIAL AWARD A SCHOLARSHIP FUND SPONSORED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS This award is presented to a junior or senior FFA member who has found the time for service to others through the Archbold FFA and other groups. The recipient of this award will receive money for use either furthering their education beyond high school or in an agricultural pursuit. A large part of Ron’s life was a dedication towards service, both to his community and to agriculture. To share in Ron’s excitement for the FFA and this value of service, friends and family have set up this memorial award through the Archbold FFA chapter. Ron was an agricultural education instructor and FFA advisor for more than 20 years, most of which those years were spent at Archbold High School. Criteria for the award is as follows: be a senior or junior have a documentation or how he/she has been of service to their FFA chapter, school, and community a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (between a C+ to B- average) active in FFA activities and above the chapter level starting a 2 or 4-year college or certification-type school in an agriculturally related field OR be involved in an agricultural pursuit right after graduation financial need will be a factor, however will not be the deciding factor be of good character; a ser of positive morals and values This award is renewable one year after graduation. The scholarship will be granted a second time after proof of attending college/school is present or bills are present as proof of participating in an agricultural pursuit.
