her and her family much happiness.
In September our health care assistant Serena Jennings will be starting an openuniversity course to gain a qualification in nursing. Serena will still be working at the

further health care assistant.
Huge congratulations to two members of our staff, Becky who has been promoted to
Practice Data Coordinator and Maria who has now taken on the role of Senior
Administrator.
We have currently been interviewing for 2 practice administrators, so you will see 2

Holiday Vaccinations
If you are intending to go abroad, it is best to check what vaccinations you may
require. You should make a separate appointment for each family member with the
Practice Nurse allowing at least four to six weeks before travel to discuss and arrange
any vaccinations and travel advice. When booking your appointment you will be
asked to complete a travel form which you will need to bring to Surgery before your
appointment. A fee may be payable if a certificate or note of vaccination is
required.
Your local pharmacy can also assist you if you require anti malaria tablets.
Don't leave getting your vaccinations done to the last minute as we may not have
appointments available at short notice and leaving them to the last minute can also
affect how effective they are in protecting you!

all our charges can be found at reception, please allow up to10 working days for any

Contraception
If you are considering having the implant then please make an appointment with Dr
Gowda. The first appointment is for consultation only, a follow up appointment is
made for the actual procedure. Dr Gowda also performs implant removal.
If you want to take the contraceptive pill or have the depo injection then the first
appointment must be made with a doctor. All further appointments are then booked
with a Practice Nurse. Please book your appointment with the Practice Nurse at least
2 working days in advance so the prescription can be processed in time for your
appointment.
Care Quality Commission (CQC)
We had a CQC inspection recently where the outcome was very good. You can view
the report on our website www.warrengate.org.uk
Community Clinics
Various clinics are held at our surgery these include physiotherapy, ultrasound,
audiology (hearing aid clinic), carpal tunnel and health trainer. You still need to be
referred by your GP to attend one of these clinics.
Dr McGraw also holds minor surgery clinics for procedures such as in-growing toe
nails, removal of sebaceous cysts, moles and skin tags. Make an appointment to see
any GP who can put you on the waiting list.

Saturday. We will be publishing the flu clinic dates sometime in September
