At Roots & Wings we love nothing more than indulging our senses with our
fruity favourites so we have created these jams bursting with flavour made with
the most delicious organic fruit. We’re delighted to be launching this mighty duo
for the onboard and travel sector. The miniature pots of Luscious Strawberry
Jam and Tantalising Seville Orange Marmalade are available to order this
Autumn.
The duo are the perfect accompaniment to an onboard breakfast or tea time
menu. The small pots deliver a mighty pop of flavour uplifting simple breads,
croissants or special or tea time fancies.
The jars are packed with sumptuous, ripe fruits grown in long established
family run organic orchards and farms, from varieties that are native to the land
which absolutely thrive. The fruits are grown for their pure and sweet flavour,
so it’s then a case of nurturing what nature gave us. At harvest time much of the
fruit is picked by hand.
Simply locking in the flavours is the job left to the expert jam makers down
in Somerset. The small team of artisan jam makers slowly and carefully cook the
fruit by hand in traditional, open copper pans, thus preserving the integrity of
the fruit. It’s a simple but highly skilled job and one that has been perfected over
many decades in a county well known for its fruit growing.
Roots & Wings has almost homemade air to it bringing with it a welcome
taste of home when we’re on the move. It’s just honest good food packed full of
flavour. Using with the finest organic ingredients, we’re proud to work with the
best producers in Britain to deliver truly inspired products to you.

Farming with compassion is of paramount importance and adheres to the high
animal welfare standards used from animal husbandry to variety and breed
selection. Roots & Wings is proud to work with some of the most accomplished
master craftsmen to create and make the products.
The nurturing nature of Roots & Wings is clear in our commitment to
donating 10% of our profits to charities, concerned with the needs of children.
We are delighted to have made our first donation to Ickle Pickles and now we are
taking nominations from our consumers for the official 2012 charity.
The current collection includes jams, chocolates, biscuits, traditional sweets,
condiments, hair and body care. But the vision for delivering pure organic first
class products to consumers continues including: sausages, bacon, soups and
bread.
