Made by hand in Britain, the Roots & Wings collection of five goodies includes
both boiled sweeties, fudge & toffee. The master sweet makers in West
Yorkshire use the finest organic ingredients: unrefined sugar with caramel
undertones, the richest treale and heavenly golden syrup to make the dreamy
vintage treats. Using local produce is a vital ingredient, so it’s no surprise that
the fudge & toffee use butter and cream made from Shorthorn cattle, a breed
found originally in the North East of England. And here is the collection:

Mint Humbugs - Gently warming with aromatic organic mint oil

say this behaviour is far from surprising “Nostalgia allows us to dip into the past
and reassure ourselves that the world has some order and predictability… in
short, nostalgia is a good psychological medicine in times of distress.”
