MASS TIMES 28th September – 4th October 2015 Monday 28th September Tuesday 29th September Wednesday 30th September Thursday 1st October Friday 2nd October Saturday 3rd October Sunday 4th October FEAST DAYS CHAPEL Public Holiday-Queen’s Birthday Sts Michael, Gabriel, Raphael 7am St Jerome 7am St Therese of the Child Jesus 7am The Holy Guardian Angels 7am CHAPEL 9am 9am CHURCH 9am 9am 9am 8.30am 8am/9:30am/ 11am/5.45pm * There is no 7am Mass or Liturgy of the Word on Monday at 7am Fr Joe writes: Spiritual Gifts St Paul tells us that there are different spiritual gifts given to each of us for the building up of the community of God. These gifts are outpourings of the goodness of God upon his people. What a tragedy if we never discover what our gifts are, or if we sell ourselves short by preferring others talents to those of our own. Our lives are for a purpose, and there are those whose lives we are meant to touch. Just as there is someone who has brought life and love to us, so there is someone who, unknowingly perhaps, awaits these from us. We have been given our own spiritual talents as gifts of the Spirit that we might heal and enrich the lives of others. This is God’s doing. He invites our cooperation that his work might be completed. Let us pray: “Lord, preserve me from thinking that I have nothing to give to others, for that would dishonour your gifts within me and be a waste of who I am. Teach me the truth about myself, and help me to see the giftedness that I either miss or deny. Amen.” SUNDAY 27th September 2015 PARISH NOTICES 1.
