oxygenation status and hemodynamic status before, during and post drug
administration
• Continuous pulse oximetry, cardiac monitoring, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory
rate
• Continuous assessment of level of sedation and/or responsiveness to verbal and
tactile stimuli by titrating drug to the patient’s response using small incremental
doses of drugs
• Estimated time of drug administration is 15-30 minutes

monitoring parameters, documentation of meds administered and patient
