The following chart lists the distribution of colors in each bag of M&M’s.
1. Based on these probabilities, how many M&M candies of each color would you expect in a bag of 15
candies?
a. Blue
b. Brown
c. Green
d. Orange
e. Red
f. Yellow
2. Using your bag of M&Ms, fill in the tally of each color in the chart below. Compute the frequency of

Answer the following questions based on your experimental probability.
3. If you select one M &M from the bag, find the probability of selecting:
a. A blue M &M.
b. A Red M&M.
4. If you select one M&M, find the probability that it is:
a. Yellow or Green.
b. Blue or Orange.
5. If you select one M&M from the bag, find the probability that it is a primary color (blue, red or yellow).
6. If you select two M&M’s from the bag, find the probability that you select a Red M&M, put it back in
the bag, and select a Blue M&M.
7. If you select two M&M’s from the bag, find the probability that you select a Green M&M, put it back in
the bag, and select an Orange M&M.
8. If you select two M&M’s from the bag, find the probability that you select a Yellow M&M, put it back
in the bag, and select another Yellow M&M.
9. If you select two M&Ms from the bag, find the probability that you select a Brown M&M, eat it, and
then select a Red M&M.
10. If you select two M&M’s from the bag, find the probability that you select a Green M&M, eat it, and
then select an Orange M&M.
11. If you select two M&M’s from the bag, find the probability that you select a Yellow M&M, eat it, and
then select another Yellow M&M.
12. If you select 6 M&M’s from the bag, replacing the M&M’s in between each pick, find the probability
that you select the M&M’s in the following order: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Brown.
13. If you select 6 M&M’s from the bag, eating each M&M after you select it, find the probability of
selecting the M&M’s in the following order: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Brown.
