Be a TEAM PLAYER by helping to CLEAN UP the room at the end of each class ETIQUETTE and CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR: I believe a good learning environment is a balance between freedom and discipline. I like to have a relaxed atmosphere so that students feel free to express themselves artistically, but there needs to be enough discipline in order to maintain respect for the teacher and the other students. That said, if I am talking or lecturing you need to be listening. If we are having a group discussion, you need to listen to each other. If people are talking out of turn, I will stop and pause until focus is restored. If disruptions persist, the students involved will be dismissed for the day and dropped from the class. When I am not lecturing or presenting material, you are allowed to talk to each other while working. You are allowed to listen to your own music, but you must use headphones.
