Scriptural Documentation:
We will explore the life of Daniel. A person with real issues yet he was focused on
purpose and holding to His faith (without compromise) as he led others into the same
place of conviction. Particularly, during a transitional generation, how persons who serve
in fine arts ministry can remain encouraged, hopeful and yet relevant during a convoluted
season in the Church’s history and presentation of what worship is.
Practical Principles:
 Temptation that we face in the ministry of fine arts

The importance of being consistent and persevering

The importance of reading and studying biblical principles

Personal behavior can have an impact of our ministry purpose

Broadening your artistic skill and technic to add to your ministry platform
Experiential Lessons:
 Understanding that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost

Being focused on having a healthy mind and body

Remaining physically active while eating a well-balanced nutritional diet.

moving to maintain balance and focus
Master class and Choreography w/guest clinicians in each discipline of the fine
arts
These sessions will be separated based on the following disciplines:

Track II: African/HipHop w/Venitia Harrington & Melinda McClain
Track III: Mime/Sign Language w/Marc Coley

Excellence In Ministry: "Preparation for the position"
This session will focus primarily on refining routines and choreography learned in
master classes / breakout sessions in preparation for ministry. It is the division’s
goal to give each delegate principles, techniques and combinations to enhance
(without compromise) their local fine arts ministry and the fabric of fine arts as it
relates to worship and the Church at large.
"Building and refining ministry presentation skits" w/ Trent Von Lee. All
disciplines will be brought together as we create our finale presentation.
These session w ill include the following disciplines:
Track I: Ballet/Modern w/Kenya Griffin & Isaiah Lucas
Track II: African/HipHop w/Venitia Harrington & Melinda McClain

Thurs, Feb 19 th
 Dancers arrive @8am warm-up/Minister during P&W @8:30 am
 (Morning) @8: 30 am Local Guest Dance Company (TBD) will minister
during GENERAL WORSHIP SESSION in Sanctuary. Selected piece will
be a maximum of 5minutes and specific selection will be submitted to grid
by 1/31/1 5 .
 :45 am-12: 15 pm General Division Lecture
 12: 15 - 1 :30pm LUNCH BREAK
 SESSION 2 - 1 :45 pm- 4:45 pm Liturgical Dance, Mime & Drama
