landscape form. Sketch and identify individual rock layers (strata) by their
member name and type of rock. Be sure to include width and thickness
measurements.
SECTION C: Worth 25 points.
Directions: Describe the two major types of sedimentary rocks present at the
field site. Examples for describing the two major rock types include: color,
composition, grain size, sorting and roundness, thicknesses of stratum, type of
texture, unusual features, and any minerals or fossils present in the rock. Be
sure to write descriptions with complete sentences and in paragraph form. Be
sure to spell correctly. This section must be typed single-spaced.
