Saskatchewan Beef industry Development Fund (SBIDF)
The Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association (SCA) formed the SBIDF
committee to ensure the proper administration of the SCA check-off levy
funds. These funds are to be used for research, development and promotion
of the beef cattle industry in Saskatchewan. The committee will guarantee
that producer money is spent responsibly on effective research and market
development projects that enhance the competitiveness of all production
sectors of the Saskatchewan beef cattle industry. The SBIDF committee
adheres to and follows The Cattle Development Plan Regulations, The AgriFood Act, 2004 and its regulations, and all applicable board orders.
