We hope those of you who came to watch the children perform enjoyed the productions as much as we all did here. I am sure you agree we have some incredibly talented children and staff in our school! Attendance Well-done to 6 Beech for getting 100% class attendance last week!! Who will be next to take home Lenny the Lion and Martha Monkey certificates next term? Remember our attendance target for this year is 96% Follow us on Twitter! StanleyGroveAcademy is now on Twitter. Follow us: @StanleyGrovePA …a great way to keep up to date with all the latest news on information on school life We look forward to putting on similar shows next term. Thank you for all your fantastic support you have shown to all our events during this Autumn Term. Our Exciting Additions! Stanley Grove has taken delivery of two school minibuses! The minibuses will be a fantastic asset to school life and mean the children can travel in style to all their exciting trips and sports events etc. Just a Note to Say…… Shiver My Timbers! Pirate Ron has been in to school and did lots of fun activities with the children from Years 1 and 2. The children had to follow a map to find some treasure hidden around the hall, and all learnt lots of pirate songs. We then watched a puppet show which the children found very funny! Pirate Ron then taught the children and the parent helpers, how to make their own puppets. Goodbye to Another Term! Today is the last day of the Autumn Term! The children return to school on Tuesday 7th January. May we wish you and your family a peaceful and relaxing break and we look forward to welcoming the children back in the New Year. One of our valued staff will be leaving the school. We would like to wish Miss Saeki all the best in her future career. In January we welcome Mr Earnshaw to Years 1 and 2, and Mrs Weakley as our new Spanish Teacher across school. Thank you for all the fantastic contributions for the party day lunch today. All the children had a lovely day and contributions mean we can do similar treats for the children in the future. We made a brilliant £480 for school at the Winter Fair and we could not do this without your continued support.
