Isolaz® After Care Instructions
 After the treatments, there should be redness and bumps at the treatment area, which may
last up to 2 hours or longer. It is normal for the treated area to feel like sunburn for a few
hours. You should use a cold compress if needed.
 We recommended avoiding make-up and sunscreen immediately after treatment. If needed,
mineral makeup may be used, unless there is blistering. It is recommended to use new makeup
to reduce the possibility of infection. Be sure that you have moisturizer on under your makeup,
as moisturizer will help the dead hair exfoliate from the follicle, so use moisturizer frequently
and freely on the treated area. Sun-tanning is not recommended during treatment.
 Avoid sun exposure and use broad spectrum sunscreen SPF 30 or higher, applying every 2
hours during the day throughout the treatment.
 Avoid picking or scratching the treated skin.
 You may shower after the laser treatments, and use soap, deodorant, etc. The treated area
may be washed gently with a mild soap. Skin should be patted dry and not rubbed.
 Treatments of 4-6 or more, spaced 1-2 weeks apart is recommended. Optimal results generally
do not occur with a single treatment. However, you may see improvement within 24-48 hours
post treatment.
 You may resume your normal activities. However, after the laser treatments, and use soap,
deodorant, etc. The treated area may be washed gently with a mild soap. Skin should be patted
dry and not rubbed.
 Continue to use topical treatments recommended by your provider, Isolaz treatment may help
the skin absorb topical medications better, enhancing other acne treatments.
