We were so grateful to have your support last year during our annual fundraiser for the Tristan Buitron
Pediatric Center. Your donation of helped us to reach our goal of $450,000. As you know, a hospital can
be a scary place for children, and your generosity made the Center a less frightening place for our littlest
patients.
Last year's proceeds were used to redecorate several of the rooms in kid-friendly themes such as fairies,
dinosaurs, and baby animals. A stress-free environment is key to quick healing, and many of our children
are now able to relax in their home away from home despite the serious medical procedures they face.
As part of our commitment to family-focused care, we will be adding five new family rooms to the
Tristan Buitron Pediatric Center. These rooms will enable up to two family members to remain just
inches away from their loved ones, and give them the time they need to rejuvenate themselves so that
they can remain strong for their children.
This year, we hope we can again count on your support to reach our new goal of $550,000. Please
consider matching your donation from last year—or better still, consider increasing that donation. Every
dollar you donate helps to get our patients back home and leading happy and healthy lives.
