Presentation title:
Brand Activation: Reputation’s Secret Sauce
Presentation abstract: Online reputation management is all the buzz today and
companies are spending their efforts focused on the immediate pain, not the root
cause, thus entering into an endless cycle of reactionary fixes. The secret sauce
around reputation lies within branding, specifically the activation of the
company’s brand. When brands are truly activated, they are the heartbeat of a
company. The beats are made of hundreds of operational decisions that guide the
brand’s behavior, touch and tangible experiences for all stakeholders. When a
company’s brand transcends marketing and is a leadership function shared
through communicators, you have the secret sauce for managing and owning a
company’s reputation.
Brands have long been the role of marketing where they were implemented
through advertising campaigns, messaging, marketing materials, storylines, etc. To
truly activate a brand, the strategy transcends marketing and becomes a
leadership function. Communicators are an important key of this transformation.
Within this session, attendees will learn how to collaborate communication
channels, create cultures of communication, and own stakeholder relationships in
order to unlock the secret sauce that guides the reputation of their company.
