Put the verbs in the past simple or present perfect. Use short forms if possible. Chris: I’ve just made some tea, Ai-Li. Would you like a cup? AI-LI: No, thanks. I’ve had four cups today. Can I have some water, please? Susi: Of course you can . We drink too much tea in this house, Ai-Li. Did you have a good day yesterday? I’m sorry I wasn’t here. I’m so busy at work at the moment.
