Dear Parents/Carers,
We would like to wish you a very warm welcome to the new school year 2015-16. It was lovely to begin the year with sunny weather and
we hope you have had a highly enjoyable summer break. We also wish the old Year 6 children the best of luck as they begin secondary
school this week.
We would like to welcome Ms Wendy Magowan as our EY TA, Mrs Gabrielle Khan as our Year 6 teacher and Miss Holly Ridgway as our
Year 5 teacher. All staff, existing and new, have worked very hard in the summer to prepare new classrooms and we know that we have
a very exciting year ahead!
Mr Chittenden-Pile will be taking Year 1 for this term and we welcome him this term.
We would also like to congratulate both Mr & Mrs Pickering and welcome baby Katy, and also Mr & Mrs Hoad with baby Everly, who
arrived in the summer holidays!
During the summer we have had building work completed and we now have refurbished toilets throughout the school and a bigger
classroom for our Year 6 class. We hope to continue developing reading areas - with thanks to the PFA for their generous donation to
support this. We will keep you posted.
Dance Club & KS1 & KS2 Elite Football Club
These clubs will commence week beginning 28th September and will run for 10 sessions during Terms 1&2. Full details will be sent home
soon.
Scholastic Book Fair on Friday 18th September: Details to follow shortly.
Water Bottles: Just a reminder to ensure that all pupils bring a named water bottle into school each day.
