Presently work in Qarun Petroleum Company “QPC” (A joint venture
company between EGPC and Apache Energy), Working as Rig
Supervisor on Workover & Drilling rigs in all Qarun oilfields ''Qarun,
Karama, Beni-Suef & Heba''.
Duties & Responsibilities:Drilling & Work Over Supervisor duties:
Manage the execution of the operations carried out by the rig under my control,
following the drilling and/or work over programs and according to Well Engineering
standards.
Manage the HSE performance of the rig in compliance with specific HSE policies and
procedures.
Manage the well site organization, well Engineer, drilling contractors, sub-contractors
and service companies.
Provide reporting of all well site activities.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of expertise with respect to execution
of drilling, work over and completion programs, with special attention to well control and
safety management.
Improve the execution quality of drilling, work over and well completion activities by
optimizing proven techniques and practices, and implementing new technology and
innovative operating methods; evaluate and report results; contribute to the
development, upgrading and maintenance of drilling and completion standards.
Coordinate rig site response to incidents and accidents.
Responsible for doing a first-line investigation and reporting of all accidents and
incidents on the location.
Monitor the operational and technical performance of well site contractor resources
against agreed indicators, for surface and sub-surface activities; verify that the quality
and cost effectiveness of the drilling, work over and well completion products delivered
by my well site organization is meeting agreed customer specifications.
Supervise Rig inspection as per Check List.
Supervise and follow-up all Direction Operation (survey, trajectory, DLS,
Projection a head to target).
Supervise and follow-up Hole cleaning efficiency in Deviated and Horizontal Hole.
Supervise using different types of mud (SPUD, GEL, KCL, GLYCOL & OBM).
Supervise coring operation and parameters (GPM, WOB & RPM) in Vertical, Deviated
and Horizontal hole.
Supervise running all casing, rotating or non-rotating Liner HGR.
Supervise running logging in Horizontal, Deviated hole.
Supervise all Killing Operation of Oil wells.
Supervise all Fishing Operation on Drilling & Work over Rigs.
Supervise Coil Tubing Operation.
Supervise communication test and remedial cement job for zonal isolation.
Evaluate qualitative CMT bond log (CBL/VDL/CCL/GR/USIT).
Experience in different types of perforation guns (TCP, Csg gun & Through TBG guns).
Supervise all production tests of exploration wells.
Supervise running of completion in Deviated and Horizontal wells.
Supervise running ESP & Sucker Rod Pumps.
Supervise monthly rig safety inspection.
Conduct weekly kick drill stripping, H2S drill and fire drill with both crew.
Make daily / weekly reports (Drlg report, Cost sheet, Mud & Safety).
Monitor / Mentor the training and development of personnel who are assigned to the rig.
Prepare & perform DST, Frac. & Acidizing jobs.
