IICA Antitrust Programme for Young Fellows 2014 Theme of the Year: “5 Years of Competition Law Enforcement in India” IICA Campus, IMT Manesar, Gurgaon About Programme: The School of Competition Law & Market Regulation, IICA in partnership with Competition Commission of India (CCI), is pleased to announce “Antitrust Programme for Young Fellows 2014 (Theme of the year: 5 years of Competition Law Enforcement in India)”. The programme comprises of two separate components, (a) Antitrust Writing Contest and (b) Antitrust Summer School (July 1-5, 2014). The aspiring candidates may choose to participate in any one or both the following programmes. The participation fee for Antitrust Summer School is Rs 10,000/- plus applicable tax (includes programme fee, accommodation and all meals & refreshment at IICA campus), whereas there is no participation fee for Antitrust Writing Contest. (a) Antitrust Writing Contest (Last date of submission June 20, 2014); The School invites original writings up to 5000 words on a diverse range of antitrust themes, which are listed in the IICA websites. Awards: 1st Prize: Rs 20,000/2nd Prize: Rs 15,000/3rd Prize: Rs 10,000/Top five papers (including the top three cash prize winners), receive summer school fellowship and an opportunity to present their work during the summer school. Selected papers may be published suitably. (b) Antitrust Summer School (July 1-5, 2014, IICA campus, Manesar, Gurgaon) The residential Antitrust Summer School is aimed at skill development of students by imparting foundational as well specialized training in drafting and transactional skills pertaining to antitrust cases. The programme also seeks to provide students and young researchers a unique opportunity to present their papers and freely engage with diverse peer-group and distinguished and internationally acclaimed antitrust practitioners belonging to regulatory authorities, law firms, economic advisory firms and government departments.
