Description of the Course:
This course is designed to develop the students’ competence in getting inferential comprehension of
the spoken texts at intermediate level emphasizing the use of appropriate strategies to find implicit
information, identify the main ideas, interpret speaker’s emotion, comprehend for specific
information, and get the inferential meanings of certain words/expressions.
Standard of Competence:
Finding implicit information, identifying the main ideas, interpreting speaker’s emotion,
comprehending for specific information, and getting literal meanings of certain words/expressions
from various spoken texts at intermediate level by using appropriate listening strategies.
