My regular laptop is still being repaired. The regular newsletter format did not save in the correct format.
So…I’m using this until I get my laptop back.
Math- We are working on Chapter 8- Multiplication and Division.
Reading- Since we will not be in school on Friday, we will have a spelling quiz on THURSDAY next week. The words are in today’s folder.
Social Science- We will have a social studies quiz on newspaper week 10. Your child received a study guide today. The quiz will be Wednesday.
Next week: Please note changes from the original school calendar for next week. We DO have school on
Monday and Tuesday. However, we do NOT have school on Friday, Jan. 15 or Monday, Jan. 18.
General Info:
Black History Project Please look for info on the upcoming Black History project. This will be a major social studies grade and an ELA grade. Your child will need to turn in a report and some sort of an art project on Feb.
2. All of the work for this will be done at home.
Superintendent’s Writing Contest: All of the work for this will be done in class. We will start working on our stories in class next week. Please encourage your child to do his/her best.
Dental Screenings: Dental Screenings will be conducted on Jan. 27.
Terrific Kid: This week’s Terrific Kid was Brianna. Next week’s Terrific Kid is Kaydi. They were selected because they are compassionate. Their families are invited to join us for lunch any day next week to celebrate these Terrific Kids. Our lunch time is 12:40-1:05.
