An Act to Create a WTF Nevada Manager in the SAS

Whereas, the WTF Nevada Facebook page is currently used by many students and has 868 likes;

Whereas, formally establishing the duties of the WTF Nevada Manager will help to create

consistency between sessions;
Be it enacted by the Senate of the Associated Students,
a) SAS I.101 shall be amended to include Section 8:
Section 08: WTF Nevada Manager
a) IN GENERAL:

The Senate shall appoint from the membership of the Senate a WTF Nevada
9
Manager, subject to the majority approval of the Senate. The WTF Nevada
10
Manager will oversee the WTF Nevada ASUN Facebook Page.

b) DUTIES:

The duties of the WTF Nevada Manager include, but are not limited to, the

following:

1) Responding to messages and posts to the WTF Nevada ASUN
Facebook page within 24 hours.

2) Maintaining and advancing the integrity of the Association’s reputation
7
and working with, when necessary, with the Director of Public and
8
Campus Relations and the staff of the Center for Student Engagement
9
to do so.

3) Assigning issues brought up on the WTF Nevada ASUN Facebook
page to Senators during his or her report at Senate meetings.
4) Conducting monthly reminders of all outstanding issues through email
or during Senate meetings.

5) Keeping the WTF Nevada accountability page current.

6) Responding to WTF Nevada issues as they are resolved or unable to be
16
resolved.

7) Posting on the WTF Nevada ASUN Facebook page during the last
18
four months of the spring semester to informally poll students as to
19
what types of events they would like to see ASUN organizations
20
including the Programming Department put on.

Be it further enacted by the Senate of the Associated Students,
a) SAS II.204.3.a.I to be amended to include subsection xi “To assist the WTF Nevada
Manager to maintain and advance the Association’s reputation.”
