The research of Confucian scholars in Han Dynasty in “Shi Ji”.
Abstract
The research objects of this study are the Confucian scholars in Han
Dynasty of “Shi Ji”. According to the deeds of Confucian scholars in Han
Dynasty, understanding how Confucian scholars to face the change environment,and exert
academic specialty, exploring the contribution and affect between
politics and academic. The content is divided into six chapters:
Chapter one: It explains the research motive, purpose, research range,
method of this thesis, and reviews the previous studies of virtuous researchers.
Chapter two: It integrates the background factors in the beginning society of
Han Dynasty, exploring the affect about the era of academic development, and
analyzes the situation between Taoist Thought and Confucianism.
Chapter three: It discusses the form and content of sequence biographies. It
also defined the meaning and condition of sequence biographies, exploring the
form of “Ru Lin sequence biographies”, discussing the deeds and contribution of
Confucian scholars. It can understand the meanings that Tai-Shi-Gong
(Szu-Ma-Qian) writing sequence biographies for those Confucian scholars.
Chapter four: It discusses the Confucian scholars in Han Dynasty of “Shi Ji”
sequence biographies, especially to those Confucian scholars who doesn’t write
into the “Ru Lin sequence biographies”. And analyzes Confucian scholars
politics achievement, besides, understanding the contribution for Han Dynasty.
Chapter five: It discusses the commentary about Tai-Shi-Gong for
Confucian scholars in Han Dynasty. It discovers the model of Confucian
scholars in Tai-Shi-Gong’s ideal, and also understanding the judgment basis for
all Confucian scholars.
Chapter six: It summarizes the contribution and affect in politics and
academic two parts of Confucian scholars. According to “Shi Ji” recording, it
discovers Tai-Shi-Gong writing intention and expectation for Confucian
scholars, and expressing the concern to the academic and society.
At last, all the references are listed to supply readers and to provide
convenience to a comprehensive research.
