Environmental Projects Volunteer Role Description Title - The title of your role will be “Reuse Workshop Leader” Your key responsibility will be “Delivery of Reuse Workshops” Outline of Role - - You will be volunteering with The University of Stirling Students Union’s Environmental Projects team as we strive to make life here at the University of Stirling more environmentally friendly and build a stronger community as we do this. Your responsibilities will include: o Facilitating creative reuse workshops. o Plan and create a schedule for reuse workshops. o Recruit a variety of facilitators for workshops. o Share skills and knowledge in a relaxed and accessible format. o Attend regular meetings with other leaders and staff. o To provide the Social Media Volunteer with social media content for each of your sessions. Skills, Attitudes & Experience - An enthusiasm and knowledge around creative reuse (fixing, up-cycling, repurposing), with applicable skills. Facilitation skills are desirable, but not essential. You will learn as you go! Interpersonal skills are essential. You don’t need to be exceptionally outgoing, just kind, helpful and open-minded.
