Completed two year (2008-2010) ICSSR Post Doctoral fellowship on a project entitled
‘India and its Diaspora in South East Asia,’

Completed a three-year major research project with the University Grants Commission
(UGC), entitled Ethnic Conflict in Fiji: Challenges before Indian Diaspora.

Completed a minor research project in June 2006 on GATS and Movement of Labour:
Opportunities and Challenges in co-author format for Center for trade and Development
(Centad), Oxfam (India) Trust.

Received a grant from the Ministry of External Affairs to visits Australia and Singapore
to study Indian Diaspora.

Received a grant from Indian Council for Historical Research (ICHR) to visit Fiji to
study Indian Diaspora.
