(James 2:12) KJV ___________________________________ January-February, 2015 No. 14 ____________________________________________ The Great Commission "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20 1 CHRISTIAN CENTER FOR LIBERTY AND JUSTICE OUTREACH IN CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA, FEBRUARY 4, 2015 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalms 33:10-12 King James Version of the Holy Bible The following paper is a paper that I prepared for our outreach. I passed a more elementary version out at the state capitol in Concord, New Hampshire to our state representatives and senators along with our (Liberty Celebration) Gospel tracts. Perhaps your state legislature/federal congress needs to know about this other religion of psychotherapy prevalent in the United States of America. 2 UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS IN THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; … U.S. Constitution, Article 1 Definition of religion: Religion can be a devotion to a religious faith or it can be a cause, principle or belief held to with faith and ardor, according to the Merriam -Webster Dictionary. PSYCHOLOGY IS A RELIGION WHICH HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE BY LAW, IT MUST NOW BE DISESTABLISHED BY RESCINDING THE ILLEGAL LAWS. The U.S. Constitution, Article 1, has jurisdiction over all state legislatures. In the following statutes in the state of NH, the government has established the religion of Psychology, (Psychotherapy, including Psychiatric Psychotherapy) as the state religion. Citizens who believe in the word of God and his way of healing, though, are currently required by the state to abide by these unconstitutional laws. Pastoral Psychotherapy is a new religion in itself, combining Christianity with Psychotherapy, like oil and water. The NH Legislature shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion but yet they have made laws respecting the establishment of religion. They have decided for supposedly church pastors what the qualifications and requirements for pastoral psychotherapists are, when there is no such person mentioned in the Holy Bible. This NH law is contrary to the U.S. Constitution first amendment right of freedom of religion, establishment and free exercise clauses. This law is contrary to qualifications for counselors/pastors found in the Holy Bible. Christians in the State of New Hampshire should not have to pay taxes to support such anti-Christian religions. It is the outright and blatant denial of our freedom of religion to have to support with our tax money these ungodly religions. It is my own opinion that the inmates in these ungodly institutions would rather not be there. It is not for the benefit of the inmate that they are drugged with psychotropic drugs, but for the benefit of those who desire to control them. Psychologists and Psychiatrists ignore the Holy Bible which promotes self control and against such there is no law. Psychologists and Psychiatrists ignore the Holy Bible which teaches self control and against such there is no law. Contrary to the Scriptures, the Psychotherapists teach other control and drug control. Let us uphold God’s law and his way for godly living through his word alone. That is all that is needed. As the pope said, the church is a hospital of mercy. The church is able to minister to its own. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 KJV (in the New American Standard Bible, self control is used instead of temperance.) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV 3 All psychiatric treatments exert their primary or intended effect by disabling brain functions, says Peter Breggin, M.D., author of Toxic Psychiatry. Dr. Breggin maintains that no existing psychiatric treatment corrects or improves existing brain dysfunction, such as a biochemical imbalance, which he argues is the major misunderstanding about psychiatry that the profession prefers to hide, and which places it outside the realm of proper treatment for disorders. The courts, child protective service agencies, and schools are now working in tandem, backed by the power of the law, to mandate that children as young as three years old take multiple psychotropic drugs despite the lack of a provable scientific basis for such treatments. NH LAWS Title XXX Occupations and Professions NH RSA 330-A: 20 Provisional Clinical Mental Health Counselor License The board shall issue a provisional Mental Health Counselor license to any person who has at least five years demonstrated clinical mental health experience and has a master’s degree with a concentration in the field of counseling or psychology from a regionally accredited institution. NH RSA 330-A: 17 (I., II., VII.) Pastoral Psychotherapists I. Has passed a satisfactory examination in pastoral psychotherapy based upon a program the content of which was primarily psychology, pastoral psychotherapy, and clinical studies or its equivalent in both subject matter and extent of training. II. Has a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college. VII. Has received a doctoral degree in pastoral psychotherapy based upon a program the content of which was primarily psychology, pastoral psychotherapy, and clinical studies or its equivalent in both subject matter and extent of training. The qualifications of overseers, who do the works of counseling and healing in the church, are put forth in the Bible. The comparison of both the NH law (NH RSA-330-a: 17) and the Bible reveals distinct differences between them. Conflicting qualifications are evidence of conflicting religions. This state law can actually hinder the work of the pastor, if he believes that to avoid conflicts with the law or lawsuits that he has to be a pastoral psychotherapist and meet those qualifications to counsel his congregants. This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of 4 the fah in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 3:1-13 KJV, Holy Bible Title X New Hampshire Mental Health Services System Section 135-C: 1 I. The purpose of this chapter is to enable the department of health and human services to: (a) Establish, maintain, and coordinate a comprehensive, effective, and efficient system of services for persons with mental illness. (b) Reduce the occurrence, severity and duration of mental, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. (c) Prevent mentally ill persons from harming themselves or others. II. It is the policy of this state to provide to persons who are severely mentally disabled adequate and humane care which, to the extent possible while meeting the purposes of habilitation and treatment, is: (a) Within each person’s own community. (b) Least restrictive of the person’s freedom of movement and ability to function normally in society while propriate to the person’s individual capacity. (c) Directed toward elimination the need for services and promoting the person’s independence. III. It is the policy of this state that mental illness in and of itself is insufficient to involuntarily admit any person into the mental health services system. NH RSA 135-C: 2 Definition X. “Mental illness” means a substantial impairment of emotional processes, or of the ability to exercise conscious control of one’s actions, or of the ability to perceive reality or to reason, when the impairment is manifested by instances of extremely abnormal behavior or extremely faulty perceptions. It does not include impairment primarily caused by: (a) epilepsy; (b) mental retardation; (c) continuous or noncontinuous periods of intoxication caused by substances such as alcohol or drugs; or (d) dependence upon or addiction to any substance such as alcohol or drugs. IV. If the child, the parent, guardian or custodian objects to the mental health evaluation, he shall object in writing to the court having jurisdiction within 5 days after notification of the time and place of said evaluation. The court shall hold a hearing to consider the objection prior to ordering said evaluation. Upon good cause shown, the court may excuse the child, the parent, guardian or custodian from the provisions of this section. 5 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. 1 Corinthians 4:4-5 These anti-biblical psychological evaluations, prohibiting the free exercise of religion, should not be ordered by or left up to the judges, since they are matters of constitutional law, first amendment freedom of religion. The prohibiting of the free exercise of religion issues ought not by law to be determined by the whim of lower court judges, who sometimes blatantly deny religious freedom rights, leaving the Christian defendants in the court case defenseless. Some judges in the state of New Hampshire are more than notorious for violations of religious freedom rights and also rights of conscience. Pastor We Chang, former pastor of the United Methodist Church in Manchester, NH stated that subjecting oneself to evaluation is sin. Pastor Chris Emerson, former pastor of First Congregational Church stated that a pastor cannot give evaluations because that is judging, which in itself is sin. I believe that Christians must reject the psychological theories and methodologies developed by men because Christians are warned in the Bible against turning to the counsel of the ungodly. The laws that establish the psychological religion must be challenged, put down and removed to protect the innocent. How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. Psalms 1:1-2 NKJV "Woe to the rebellious children,'' says the Lord, "Who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; … Isaiah 30:1 NASB In this passage, God has clearly stated that our counsel, advice and plans must come from Him or we are sinning. We must not trust in or go to those who are not godly or do not use the Bible, God’s Word, as a basis of their counsel. We must not attempt to strengthen ourselves in sources not rooted in God. To go to other sources than God for our guidance is rebellion against God. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8 KJV All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 6 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; Colossians 2:8-10 NASB O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: -- King James 1 Timothy 6:20 In the book, Cults in Our Midst, there is a list of types of cults found in the United States and included in that list is Psychology and Psychotherapeutic types. Cults involve a relationship with a leader and a group, a power structure, and in general use a coordinated program of persuasion called brainwashing. Children are drugged by mental health professionals to get them to conform to the plans of DCYF for them. The children are then taught to hate their parents contrary to Christian teaching to honor their parents. The leaders of these groups tend to lead people away from God and then to themselves. Devious means are used by them to keep their power. These cults are an absolute danger to our society, destroying loving families who are trying their best. Children are drugged by the advice of mental health professionals, kept from visiting their parents by them and then parental rights are taken away and the children are adopted away. Unjustly, a NH judge can determine neglect if one even thinks that the children are going to be neglected in the future, due to the state of NH definition of neglect. For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Isaiah 9:16 The legislature cannot make laws in which those of the Christian faith are involuntarily forced to attend a mental institution against their religious beliefs, be ordered to have an evaluation, or take psychotropic drugs against the dictates of their or their parent’s conscience and their faith. Christians should not be forced to support these ungodly institutions with their taxes. State of New Hampshire, let the church help its own and the world its own. The legislature must rescind these laws that violate the first amendment of the US Constitution and the following articles in the NH Bill of Rights. [Art. 4] Among the natural rights, some are, in their very nature unalienable, because no equivalent can be given or received or received from them. Of this kind are the Rights of Conscience. [Art. 5] Every individual has a natural and unalienable right to worship God according to the dictates of his own conscience and reason; and no subject shall be hurt, molested, or restrained in his peers on, liberty, or estate, for worshipping God in the manner and season most agreeable to the dictates of his own conscience; or for his religious profession, sentiments, or persuasion; provided he doth not disturb the public peace or disturb others in their religious worship. It is difficult to find a church that does not adhere to the Psychological way, even though there is no Biblical reason to do it, but reason not to adhere to it. Some in the church have accepted the 7 Psychological way when Jesus said that he was the way. No pastor should encourage his congregants to deny their faith and go for counsel outside of the church. The church is to practice church discipline through reproof, confession, and prayer. Jesus cast out demons from a demoniac who then was in his right mind. His disciples can do the same. The church deserves to and has the right to develop their healing capabilities without hindrance by the government (prohibition of the free exercise thereof). Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16 KJV The words of Jesus: Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. Matthew 18:15-17 KJV The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalms 33:10-12 King James Version of the Holy Bible Let us be the people who make the difference. The right thing to do is to work for God’s kingdom to come; his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. That involves making our laws to abide by the US Constitution and being certain that no law will lead the people astray to other religions (psychiatric psychotherapy and psychological psychotherapy). And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. The outreach went well. We reached many of the state senators and representatives. One person heartily agreed with us, one said that she had not heard about this issue, and one representative was a psychotherapist and I debated the subject of Psychotherapy being another religion. His father was a preacher. Many had a meeting to go to, but took the literature, and/ or a snack. Please pray for all those who received the gospel and/or my literature. Robert used his time there to campaign for president of the USA. Snow, snow and more snow – Manchester Headquarters 9 Church Testimony by Pastor Ben Boiro The Lord has Mercy Ministries Kisii, Kenya Am in very low position when I share my testimony with you and it is painful but God’s power and His grace have been sufficient to me and church not counting what we have passed through. My mother and father tried possible and helped me to get education because of the poor background and I ended of Education was at the four level according to our education system in Kenya. Through what I was passing through as an a child from a poor family and less fortune and from lowly family I was praying day and night that the less fortune children and orphans around our communities may get education and pass not what I was passing. When God called me from that low state of lacking even the basic needs and God gave me heart of helping the less fortune through my small kales growing which I use for my family and sell some for these children to get 5 exercise book and two pens each month and this is not enough they other basic needs which they church use the little offering and tithe we get them food .Now my prayer and the prayer of the church to God is that this children stay in good place where they can learn and understand when they are not with stress of remembering their parent and some may commit suicide because lack of care and some may run to streets to be street children which may not make them to achieve the goals and mission of them being created on earth and this children have come as the result of their parent die by highland malaria and some their parents died by this pandemic diseases HIV/AIDS. I believe will come to pass through God’s provision. Our prayer is that God may open ways for the children to get help and support fully this young generation who will be the ambassador of Christ as I believe they will grow in God’s word because your website is still inspiring us and we believe one day will meet face to face and you share with us more. On the church we have passed through ups and downs but no single day we have missed service even in the rain season that we are carrying our service under shade of Tress God always brings rain after we have finished the service or before we start the service we thank God for His mercy and grace encounter challenges when we are in outreaches because we come across ministering the families who to get meals is the not easy and this hinder the gospel growing faster but we believe that God who is using us in this area will provide.
