they always support her and are there for her every step of the way.

Softball Achievements: Vanessa graduated in 2014 with High Honors from Fullerton High
School where she played softball for 4 years. She also received a Scholar Athlete award.

Softball Achievements: Alexa graduated in 2014 from Cypress High School where she played
four years of Varsity Softball.
Personal: Alexa is currently majoring in Criminal Justice. She is the daughter of Javier and
Serene and had three siblings, Ciarra, Janae, and Vincent. She loves music, basketball and hiking.
Alexa credits her family as her greatest influence because they mean everything to her.
Anjanette Carranza

Softball Achievements: AJ graduated in 2009 from Beckman High School where she played
Varsity Softball. She was All-League her freshman and sophomore years and team MVP. In her
junior year she earned Academic Honors and continued that into her senior year, graduating with
Honors. AJ also played on her high school’s volleyball team.
Personal: AJ is currently a Science major and plans to become an Ultra Sound Technician. She is
the daughter of Art and Betsy and has two siblings, Krista and Adrian. She has been ski diving
and loves to travel. AJ credits her stepfather Ariel as her greatest influence because he has taught
her everything about sports and what it means to be an athlete.

Softball Achievements: Ashley graduated in 2014 from El Torro High School in 2014. She
played Varsity Softball for four years. Her senior year she made First Team All-League and was
the Offensive MVP.
Personal: Ashley is majoring in Psychology. She is the daughter of Greg and Malissa and two
siblings, Ambrielle and Gavin. In her free time she loves to surf. Ashley credits her Nana as her
greatest influence because she is always so positive.

Personal: Ashley is a Psychology major. She is the daughter of Jerry and Barbie and has one
sister, Nicole. She credits her Grandma Lucy as her greatest influence because she taught her to
always work hard and never give up.

Softball Achievements: Riley graduated in 2014 from Sunny Hills High School where she played
four years on the Varsity softball team. Her freshman year she made second team all league and
then made first team her sophomore, junior, and senior years. She also played varsity basketball.
Personal: Riley is current undecided in her major. She is the daughter of Eric and Laurie and has
two siblings, Ramie and Dylan. She credits her mom as her greatest influence because she is a
hard worker.

Softball Achievements: Maddie graduated in 2013 from Foothill High School where she played
both Softball and Volleyball. As a freshman at SCC, Maddie competed in 44 games as a catcher
while posting a .314 batting average.
Personal: Maddie is currently undecided in her major. She is the daughter of Bruce and Heidi and has
one brother, Carter. Maddie loves cats. She cites her parents as the biggest influence in her life
because they always motivate her to do her best.

Softball Achievements: Ashley graduated from Garden Grove High School in 2013 as a 3-time
scholar athlete. She was a 4-year varsity softball player and a 3 times First Team All-League
selection. Ashley was Defensive Player of the Year as a junior. As a freshman at SCC Ashley
played in 20 games and a .452 Batting Average.
Personal: Ashley is majoring in Nutritional Science and plans on becoming a nutritionist for
children. She is the daughter of Jason and Ali and has two siblings, Trevor and Michael. Ashley
enjoys going to the beach, working out, and her dog, Jersey. She cites her parents as her greatest
influence because they always support her with all of her decisions.

Softball Achievements: Misty graduated from Orange High School in 2013 and was a 4-year varsity
softball player. She earned 2nd Team All League and Scholar Athlete honors as a freshman, First Team
honors as a sophomore, Honorable Mention as a junior, and First Team All League as well as the
Athlete of Character and Honor her senior year. Misty was also a standout water polo player at Orange
High. During her freshman year Misty played in 21 games and had a .500 batting average.
Personal: Misty plans to become a special education teacher or a speech therapist. She is the daughter
of Mark and Michelle and has one sister, Michaela. She claims that Sheryl Glass has had the greatest
influence in her life because she taught her to not just be a better athlete, but a better person and push to
accomplish all of her dreams.

Softball Achievements: Danica graduated in 2011 from Esperanza High School. Danica returns
for her sophomore season after redshirting the 2014 season.
Personal: Danica is majoring in Liberal Arts. She is the daughter of Jody and Cindi and has one
sister, Courtney. She cites her parents as her greatest influences because they support her in
everything she does.

Softball Achievements: Stephanie graduated from Tustin High School in 2012, where she competed
on the varsity softball team for 3 years and the track and field team for 1 year. During her time at
Tustin High she received both Defensive Player of the Year and Student-Athlete Honors. In her
freshman season Stephanie played in 46 games earning a 1.74 ERA and .920 fielding percentage.
Personal: Stephanie is currently undecided in her major but plans to be successful in whatever
she chooses. She is the daughter of Daniel and Debra and has one sister, Allyson. She cites Jimmy
Fallon as her greatest inspiration in life because he is adorable, nice, cool, funny, and she plans on
meeting him one day. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her dog Gracie.
Moriah Gonzales

Softball Achievements: Moriah graduated from El Modena High School in 2013. She earned 2
league championships during her softball career, one for the JV team her freshman year and the other
on varsity team her sophomore year. In her freshman year at SCC Moriah played in 28 games earning a
.344 batting average.
Personal: Moriah is currently majoring in Nursing and pursues this because her goal is to save
people’s lives. She is the daughter of Tommy and Stephanie and has one brother, Zach. She cites her
family has being the biggest influence in her life because they push her to be the best she can be. She
enjoys scary movies and cites her family as the biggest influence in her life because they push her
