Vocabulary Essay 3
Long ago, in the middle ages; Kings had greater responsibilities than those of the present
day, so they have to be wise and rule fairly. Kings had valor knights who sentinel them. The
knights were loyal to their king; they could even sacrifice with themselves for their king. They
serve their king, in rapture way; their main focus is to protect the king, and the country from the
kingdom’s enemies. They are the guardians of the kingdom.
King Richard had two sons, Arthur and William. Arthur was the eldest son. One day the
king felt sick, the doctors told the two princes that their father will die soon. King Richard died,
and the eldest son; Arthur became the king of the kingdom. Arthur ruled fairly at the beginning,
but by the time he became selfish and greedy. Prince William was a good behavior man. Prince
William admonished King Arthur that his people might become treachery to him, but he didn’t
obey for his brother’s advice. Prince William decided to deprive his brother from being the king.
The kingdom knights helped Prince William to confront King Arthur. Prince William became the
king the people of the kingdom became happy with their new fair king. King William’s
obedience was to isolate his brother.

Kings have great duties for their kingdom. Kings have to rule wisely and think of their
people. Kings have to solve their people’s problems. Knights have to cooperate with the king, so
the kingdom can become safe. Therefore the kingdom can live a prosperous life.
